About The Working Investor

I'm just an average working person. I manage a small team for ADOT overnight - not a finance background, not a credential to my name.

I didn't get serious about money until later in life. I was introduced to investing in 2019, and looking back, I wish I'd known this stuff in my late teens and twenties instead. But I started where I was, with what I had.

Since then, I've built my own portfolio to $200K - on a small budget, through slow growth, discipline, and patience. No shortcuts, no windfalls.

I know to some, $200K isn't a lot of money. To others, it might sound like a lot. For me, the number was never the main thing. It's the progress, and laying a foundation I can actually feel good about.

Along the way, I started helping family members and coworkers get their first real introduction to investing. What I found is that so many people have no idea where to start - not because they're not capable, but because nobody ever explained it to them like a normal human being.

That's what this is. The Working Investor is for the late starters. The ones who made mistakes. The ones with a limited budget. Anyone who just wants someone to talk to them like they're two years old and tell them what to actually do.
